The 27th annual conference of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP) closed in Tbilisi.

The international conference of prosecutors was attended by 300 prosecutors from 60 countries and representatives of the United Nations, the European Union, the Council of Europe, the United States Department of Justice, relevant units working in the field of criminal justice, and high-level experts working in this field.

As part of the conference, sessions and workshops was held on such important issues as: direct international cooperation between prosecutors’ offices, institutional challenges created as a result of the pandemic and response measures, evolution of cybercrime typologies, challenges related to obtaining electronic evidence in a foreign state, money laundering using virtual assets, etc.
