Seasonal flu vaccination has started across Georgia. Such a statement made today the Acting Director of the National Centre of Disease Control.
“Under the state program, Georgia has already secured 200,000 doses of French-produced quadrivalent influenza vaccine (Sanofi Pasteur), which is among the WHO-recommended jabs.
Pregnant women, doctors, patients on dialysis, individuals with diabetes, HIV/AIDS and those in risk groups will receive vaccines against flu free of charge”, - said Tamar Gabunia.
Individuals in the risk groups have been asked to apply to medical institutions in Tbilisi and other regions for the vaccines, with the list of venues providing the services listed on the official website of the NCDC.
