Danger of fire spreading to populated areas of Borjomi has been removed

The situation in Borjomi. According to Rustavi 2, 4 helicopters of the border police, about 300 firefighters and 300 employees of the special tasks department are involved in extinguishing the fire in Borjomi municipality.

Employees of relevant local police units are also involved in the works.

Besides, the employees of the National Forestry Agency of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture are involved in extinguishing the fire in the forest massif.

As it is known, at this stage, the danger of fire spreading to populated areas has been removed.
