The Thematic Inquiry Group at the Education and Science Committee on the Application of the School Educational Resources in Ensuring Effective Academic Process, headed by the First Deputy Chair of the Committee, Tamar Taliashvili held a working meeting with the professional associations and international organizations working in the education sphere, introducing their written positions.
At the meeting, the emphasis was made on the problems and needs for the use of the educational resources in the effective academic process.
“High-quality education requires the educational resources of a respective quality, which is the scope of the inquiry of our Committee. We met with the professional circles, associations and organizations and heard about their problems related to the educational resources, classification rules and standards. The Committee is to develop respective recommendations based on the expressed positions to ensure the improvement of the system”, - said the Chair of the Committee, Giorgi Amilakhvari.
“Within the education reform, immense importance is attached to the resolution of the scarcity of the school resources; it is as well paramount to better adjust the available resources to the individual needs of the children. Within the inquiry, we hold meetings with the representatives of the educational sector at the round table to discuss the recommendations, remarks and positions for the solution of the challenges existing in this sphere. The Parliament and the Ministry expressed the commitment to cooperate for the successful accomplishment of the educational reform”, - added Tamar Taliashvili.
