The National Food Agency of Georgia warned customers who have purchased Chinese-made ceramic plates from the Junior series by Ambition, after lead was detected in the product following testing.

The Agency also notified the importer company Terminal West Trading and ordered to remove the named batch of plates in order to protect the consumer’s health.

“We received a notification through the RASFF rapid alert system of the Directorate General of Health and Food Safety of the European Commission on July 25, which said that during the market control the competent service of Poland had identified the Chinese-made ceramic plates of He Tai Ceramic Manufacturing CO., LTD the fact of migration of lead”, - reads the statement of the agency.
