The Mayor of Tbilisi introduced the rehabilitation project of Avlabari metro station to the locals himself.

“We started the reconstruction of the upper lobby of the Avlabari Underground Station and capital repair works. According to the project, the following works will be carried out: reinforcement of constructions and arrangement of drainage system; repair/renovation of lobby and utility rooms; repair and renewal of engineering utility networks; interior (floor, wall, and ceiling) finishing works, namely, arrangement of tactile paths, facade finishing; an arrangement of the roof (arrangement of waterproofing and water transfer systems).

In addition, the green wall, which was on the outer facade, will be preserved and will be made with a new system. I am sure that the mentioned area – Avlabari Underground Station, Avlabari Square, and Ketevan Dedofali Avenue will be one of the best in the capital”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
