The cost of marriage registration to rise from August

According to the decree of the Government of Georgia, starting from August 1, conducting a wedding ritual in a solemn situation in a branch of the House of Justice or in a Community Center will cost GEL 75 instead of GEL 50.

Tariffs change for other services as well. Special ritual service (conducting the marriage ritual in a solemn situation) at the Marriage House on Saturday and Sunday will cost GEL 225. On any other day, except Saturday and Sunday - GEL 135. Service outside the building will cost GEL 255.

The Government of Georgia adopted the relevant resolution on July 18, 2022.
