The employees of Kvemo Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative measures and investigative activities detained several times convicted in past - F.D. (DoB 2000) on charges of premeditated murder and illegal purchase, keeping and possession of firearms.

The committed crime envisions from 10 to 15 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that the accused person, on July 3 of the current year, inflicted gunshot wounds to V.O. (DoB 1976) in Marneuli.

As a result of the injuries, V.O. died in a medical facility.

As a result of the investigative measures, the law enforcement officers arrested the alleged perpetrator of the crime the day after the incident.

The weapon of crime was seized as evidence.

The investigation is being conducted under Articles 108 and 236 of the Criminal Code, which implies premeditated murder and illegal purchase, storage, and carrying of firearm.
