The Government of Georgia will ban export of wheat and barley until July 1, 2023, based on the decree signed by the Prime Minister.
“Due to the world food security problems related to the Russia-Ukraine war, the export of wheat and barley from Georgia will be banned until July 1, 2023.
The decree is valid as soon as it is signed and applies to relations arising from July 4, 2022”, - reads the decree of Irakli Garibashvili.
