The tourist complex located in Tsalka Canyon will receive visitors from today, June 15.
Tsalka Canyon is the first protected area in the country with a private international investment made by an Israeli company - Kass Land LLC. Investment value of the project is 120 000 000 GEL. Investment of this volume is record-high for the region, while the facilities envisaged in the project - new and unique for Georgia.
First time ever in Georgia, a unique 240 meters-long bridge made of glass was constructed over the canyon within the scope of the project. It is accompanied with eco-touristic tracks and a center for visitors. Hotels and other hospitality infrastructure was also built around the site. It is worth noting that Tsalka Canyon is entirely staffed with local residents.
Over 250 people were trained and employed within the scope of the project. Development of the site will significantly contribute to the development of eco-tourism in the country, especially benefiting the region.
