June 14 is the day of protection of the rights of persons with disabilities in Georgia. Tbilisi Municipal Department of Healthcare and Social Services implements a number of programs for people with disabilities.

First - is the Habilitation Program for Children with the Autism Spectrum Disorder (currently 1 550 children and adolescents benefit from this program). The Resort Services Program for Children and Adolescents with Disabilities, within the framework of which up to 2 300 resort vouchers worth 800 GEL were issued this year. The 800 GEL assistance program for socially vulnerable people under 18, under which up to 1 300 people receive assistance every year.

623 people with visual impairment receive assistance annually. Persons with disabilities belong to the priority group when funding other programs, etc.
