The officers of Didube - Chugureti Police Main Division under Tbilisi Police Department detained G.O. (DoB 1995), as a result of operative and investigative activities and J.M. (DoB 1986) in Tbilisi on charges of inflicting severe body injuries on purpose.

The committed crime envisions from 3 to 6 years of imprisonment.

The investigation revealed that on June 11 of the current year, the accused persons inflicted body injuries with a cold steel to each other to each other with a cold weapon on the ground of a the argument in Digomi, Tbilisi district. Both wounded individuals were taken to the medical facility where appropriate medical care was provided to them.

Police seized the weapons of crime - two knives as evidence.

The investigation is underway under Article 117, Part I of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which stipulates inflicting severe body injuries on purpose.
