Irakli Garibashvili meets Yair Lapid, Alternate Prime and Foreign Affairs Minister of Israel

Prime Minister of Georgia met Yair Lapid, Alternate Prime and Foreign Affairs Minister of the State of Israel today.

It was highlighted at the meeting that friendship existing between the two countries is exemplary and 30 years of diplomatic relations serve as clear evidence of it. Readiness was expressed by both sides towards deepening the successful cooperation in various spheres further in the future.

Irakli Garibashvili and Yair Lapid also spoke about the security challenges and further intensification of cooperation in multilateral formats.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel reassured Irakli Garibashvili in the unwavering position of the State of Israel towards the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia.

Meeting was attended by Ilia Darchiashvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia; Juansher Burchuladze, Minister of Defense of Georgia; Grigol Liluashvili, Head of State Security Service of Georgia; H.E. Lasha Zhvania, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the State of Israel; Revaz Javelidze, Head of Government Administration.
