The Minister of Internal Affairs held a working meeting with the leadership of police units of Adjara Police Department. The meeting was also attended by the First Deputy Minister - Shalva Bedoidze.

Vakhtang Gomelauri was familiarized with information by the leadership of the Adjara Police Department on the fight against crime and preventive police measures in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara and the city of Batumi.

The Minister stressed the importance of providing a decent working environment for police officers and noted that the creation of social guarantees for policemen is one of the top priorities for the Ministry.

At the meeting, Gomelauri also discussed the priority directions of the agency with the employees and gave them relevant instructions related to the work process.
