The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Vakhtang Gomelauri, held a meeting with the Swiss Federal Councillor, Head of the Federal Department of Justice and Police, Karin Keller-Sutter, paying official visit to Georgia.

Parties talked about existing cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the Swiss Confederation and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, as well as perspectives of future cooperation. Vakhtang Gomelauri and Swiss Federal Councillor also discussed ongoing events in the region and the subsequent challenges.

At the end of the meeting, Vakhtang Gomelauri emphasized the significance of the visit of Karin Keller-Sutter and thanked Swiss colleague for the strong support of the Swiss Confederation to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia.
