Georgia celebrated the 77th anniversary of its victory over fascism. This year the Victory Day is celebrated in the Kikvidze Park.

The largest and bloodiest war claimed the lives of 300,000 Georgians.

In line with a Government Decree, participants of the World War II will receive a one-off payment of 1 000 GEL in connection with the 77th Anniversary of Victory over Fascism, while families of the servicemen fallen in the World War II will get 500 GEL. Respective Government Decree has already been signed by the Prime Minister of Georgia.
