Today, May 9, marks the 77th anniversary of the victory over fascism in World War II. This year the Victory Day is celebrated in the Kikvidze Park.
Representatives of the Georgian Government plan to go to the Kikvidze Park today.
World War II went down in history as the largest and bloodiest conflict. The war, which lasted from 1941 to 1945, claimed the lives of 300,000 Georgians. The battles took place in the territory of 40 states.
