Prime Minister of Georgia congratulated Muslims living in Georgia on Eid al-Fitr, the celebration that marked the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan for them.
“It is with enormous love and respect that I wish every Muslim in Georgia a Happy Ramadan Bayram, a holiday marking the end of a month-long fasting period, and a great celebration of spiritual cleansing, kindness, and mutual care.
For centuries, we have been building our common homeland together, in brotherhood and friendship. We share a common future. In the same vein, we are to build our future together, the reason why your joy is the joy of each and every one of us.
Together with our country’s citizens, I join you in your celebration, wishing you peace, prosperity, health, and success”, - reads the holiday message of Irakli Garibashvili.
