The Russian Foreign Ministry claims that Moscow has lost confidence in Kyiv. According to the official representative of the Ministry, Maria Zakharova, in Moscow they were ready for the fact that Kyiv would behave “inconsistently”, therefore the situation develops “on the ground”.
“Here it’s not like ‘trust and verify”, here it’s just “verify”, because there has been no trust in these people for a long time”, - Zakharova said.
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, commenting on negotiations with Russia, said that Kyiv would refuse to talk with Moscow in the event of the destruction of the Ukrainian military in Mariupol.
