Russian Army planned a military invasion in Belarus. Such an information was released by the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

“The documents obtained by the military intelligence of Ukraine indicate the preparation of the 1st Russian tank army to invade and seize the territory of Belarus.

After the falsification of the presidential elections in Belarus the Russia developed a plan to invade and suppress people’s protests.

Occupation of Belarus was planned under the guise of avoiding Russia “in the European continental region into a regional or broad-scale war with countries - members of NATO in the West”.

One of the evidence of the Russian Federation’s preparation for military aggression against the neighboring state is “Legend of the idea of regrouping the united and military parts of the 1 tank army into the district of the task”, - reads the statement of agency.
