Ukraine bans Russian music on radio and TV. A group of MPs registered in the Verkhovna Rada a bill banning the reproduction of musical products of the aggressor state’s origin. The corresponding bill appeared on April 11.

The ban on Russian music will apply to its performance by citizens and residents of the aggressor state on radio, television, entertainment, public transport (public and private carriers), educational institutions, cultural and recreational, hotel and restaurant businesses, cinemas, public spaces.

Besides, politicians are in favor of increasing (from 35% to 50%) the quota of Ukrainian music on the radio of music radio stations and music TV channels.
