Around 30 people have been killed and 100 injured in a Russian rocket strike on a railway station in east Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky said.
Writing on social media platforms, he added that thousands of people were at the station in Kramatorsk at the time of the strike.
The city is part of the Donetsk region controlled by the Ukrainian government, and the station was being used to evacuate civilians.
Zelensky criticized Russian forces, saying they were “cynically destroying the civilian population” and called it “an evil without limits”.
“This is an evil that has no limits. And if it is not punished, it will never stop”, - he added.
