Poland is ready to become a guarantor of Ukraine’s security, if the United States is also among the guarantors. Such a statement made Polish Deputy Prime Minister, head of the ruling Law and Justice party Yaroslav Kaczynski.
Earlier, a member of the Ukrainian delegation at the talks with the Russian Federation, David Arakhamia, said that Kyiv was proposing a new system of security guarantees for Ukraine. According to him, Kyiv sees the UN Security Council countries, as well as Turkey, Germany, Canada, Italy, Poland and Israel as guarantors of security.
“If these were serious guarantees, that is, with the participation of the United States, as well as other major European states, then I do not see any contraindications here”, - Kaczynski said.
