Tbilisi Mayor presented the development concept of the former Tennis Courts during the city governmental sitting.

“The area of ​​the former tennis courts near the Hippodrome was very popular; however, under the previous government, this area was alienated in 2009 for the construction of buildings. We had to work very hard to return it to the city. We negotiated with the investor company and the relocation of this space took place, which cost the municipality a considerable amount of money.

We then announced an auction with a specific commitment that the winning company would definitely have to design the courts with a swimming pool, which was very important for us and also for the city. The winning company has been identified and today I would like to present the design of courts that will be implemented in this area: there will be arranged three tennis courts, with two of them closed and one open. 50-meter swimming pool, fitness club, cafe, recreation areas”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
