All COVID-restrictions, except for wearing a mask in transport and indoor space, to be lifted

All restrictions related to COVID-19, except for wearing a mask in transport and indoor space, will be lifted. Such a statement made today the Head of the Task Force under the Interagency Coordination Council.

“From March 28, the obligation to wear a mask in the open space will be abolished and it will be only of a recommendatory nature. The obligation to wear a mask in public transport and indoors will be maintained. Restrictions on the quantity of people in food facilities, as well as sports, arts or other events will be lifted. Employees working remotely will be able to return to their workplaces. The obligation of self-isolation for persons who return to the country without a PCR test will also no longer apply. The vaccination promoting programme will be maintained.

Virtually all the regulations, except for the obligation to wear a mask in closed space and public transport, are being abolished at this stage”, - said Giorgi Ghibradze.
