Former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych called on current officeholder Volodymyr Zelensky to “stop the bloodshed at any cost and reach a peace agreement”.

Yanukovych reminded Zelensky that only he is personally obligated to cease hostilities despite the presence of many “advisers” in his team.

“This is what is expected of you in Ukraine, Donbass and Russia. The Ukrainian people and your partners in the West will be grateful to you. Heroism is not about fighting to the last Ukrainian”, - Yanukovych wrote.
