A draft resolution on Georgia’s integration into the European Union will be submitted to the Parliamentary Bureau today, March 7.

The 13-point document calls on the European Union member states and EU institutions to take all necessary steps to accelerate Georgia’s accession to the EU.

The resolution calls on the Government of Georgia and the EU to facilitate Georgia’s participation in EU programmes and agencies, as well as to accelerate Georgia’s integration into the EU economic space; Calls on the EU to engage at the high level in the process of strengthening Georgia’s territorial integrity, as well as in promoting peace and stability in Georgia and the region, etc.
