“You know that we have Category A and B taxi drivers. Category A is a white taxi with the appropriate sign that travels through the city. There are also Category B taxis that do not have a sign - they can be included in the apps and serve all the people who travel by taxi, however, the appropriate license is required for the Category B taxi drivers as well. Certainly, the control that has always been in this direction will become stricter.

Therefore, I would like to once again call on those who provide this service that obtaining licenses is fundamentally important. Unlicensed activity will result in a fine. Certainly, no one is happy with imposing fines on them. Therefore, it is important to have a license that is very easy to obtain in the municipality. The permit fee is 100 GEL, in the case of a hybrid vehicle - 50 GEL, and in the case of an electric car, the permit is free. My request would be, do not impose yourself a fine, get a permit, and carry out your activities legally”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
