A curfew has been declared in Kiev.
The mayor of Ukraine’s capital of Kyiv ordered a curfew on Thursday in comments shown on broadcast media after Russia launched an invasion of Ukraine.
According to Vitali Klitschko, the curfew will be from 10 p.m. till 7 a.m.
Ukrainian troops are fighting the Russian army in in the north and the south, Ukrainian military chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi said Thursday afternoon.
He said a battle was raging Thursday near the Hostomel air base 7 kilometers northwest of the capital, Kyiv.
