Senaki Assembly composition, which Georgian Dream considers illegitimate, elects Giorgi Gakharia’s party member, Irakli Kacharava, as a Chairman.

He was supported by the United National Movement. 17 members of the Assembly took part in the voting. Members of the ruling team did not participate.

A few minutes after the start of the session, the Head of the Assembly staff resigned. The former Head cited pressure as the reason. Nevertheless, the session continued.

There are 33 deputies in the Senaki Assembly, of which 16 are members of the Georgian Dream, 13 are members of the United National Movement, and 4 are members of the Party for Georgia.
