It will be mandatory to constantly fly a state flag on school and kindergarten buildings and to display the state coat of arms in full.

In this regard, draft amendments to the Law on the Rule of Use of State Symbols of Georgia, drafted by Georgian Dream MP Kakha Kakhishvili, were adopted by the Parliament in the first reading with 94 votes. The bill was supported by part of the opposition, including MPs from the United National Movement.

According to the bill, it is also mandatory for these institutions to place the text of the Georgian national anthem in a visible place.
