The Speaker of the Parliament Shalva Papuashvili held a meeting with the Ambassador of the State of Qatar, Hassan bin Ahmed Al-Mutawa.

The parties expressed their consent about the progress in cooperation in various spheres, including tourism, trade, economics, direct flights and investments.

The Chairman hoped that the joint ongoing and scheduled projects will be successfully implemented and underlined the role of the Parliaments in bilateral relations. He expressed the commitment of Georgia to contributing to bilateral relations through the agreements, high-level Parliamentary visits and meetings.

The Ambassador congratulated the Speaker on the election of the position and expressed commitment to close cooperation.
