Bureau didn’t take place deliberately, it was a political move in response to the opposition - Mamuka Mdinaradze

Bureau didn’t take place deliberately, it was a political move in response to the opposition. Such a statement made Mamuka Mdinaradze, one of the leaders of the Georgian Dream, said about a Bureau meeting, which failed due to the absence of the majority MPs and on which an alternative proposal of Lelo for the State Inspector’s Service was to be registered.

“Several people showed up to pay their respects to the institute, Mr. Gia [Volski], but the bureau was not deliberately held. It was a political move on our part in response to the opposition, which decided to take a deterrent step by delaying the bill we initiated.

The bill presented by the opposition as an alternative is analogous to the bill presented by the inspector, it is literally the same. The opposition did not even present their bill, they presented the inspector’s bill”, - said Mamuka Mdinaradze.
