The officers of Gldani-Nadzaladevi Police Main Division of Tbilisi Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained V.G. (DoB 1990), as a result of operative and investigative activities in Tbilisi for inflicting severe health injury on purpose.

The committed crime envisages from 3 to 6 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that the accused inflicted wounds with a cold steel to G.M. (DoB 2000) in Gldani, on the ground of a dispute, and fled the scene. The wounded man was taken to hospital where appropriate medical care has been provided to the victim.

Law enforcement officers arrested the accused person within hours after the incident.

Police seized the weapon of the crime - a knife as evidence.

The investigation is underway under Article 117, Part I of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which stipulates severe health damage on purpose.
