“The Georgian legislation does not provide for the entry of the Public Defender of Ukraine and there is no need for that, we have no obligation to do so.

Consequently, when a prisoner is in a medical facility, we are obliged to do our best to protect his health to the end, and as I have already told you, for these reasons, the Public Defender has not been allowed yet.

Also, a letter has been received through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and naturally, we will definitely return the reply.
