All 27 people detained in connection with the violence against media representatives at the July 5 rally will remain in custody. The decision was made by four judges of the Tbilisi City Court.

The prosecution demanded that the most severe measure of restraint be upheld. Some of the lawyers demanded the release of the accused on bail, while part demanded the termination of the criminal prosecution against them.
