Within her official visit to Austria, the President of Georgia has met with the Secretary-General of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.

Salome Zourabichvili and Helga Schmid focused on the issue of Georgia’s occupied territories, the existing humanitarian conditions there, and the ongoing Geneva International Discussions.

According to the President, she is working on the project envisaging that the female Leaders’ conference related to peace and security issues will be held in Tbilisi with the support of OSCE.

The reference was made to OSCE’s efforts to increase women’s involvement in different male-dominated fields.
