The President of Georgia has started an official visit to Vienna with a meeting with Georgians working in Austria.

At the meeting with Salome Zourabichvili famous musicians, composers, opera representatives, as well as doctors and scientists working in the medical sector presented to the President their own initiatives, the implementation of which will lead to the development and progress of these areas in Georgia.

“One of our greatest resources and value to be exported is our culture. In this regard, any state would find it difficult to do as much as each of you can with his/her talent and hard work. Today is a time of freedom, and that freedom allows us to express ourselves. This success is yours, but it also belongs to a state too”, - said the President.

At the meeting, they also talked about the creation and financing of new directions of student exchange programs, including the issue of equalizing the tuition fees of Georgian students in European Union countries with the tuition fees of EU citizens.
