Parliament passed an amnesty act in connection with the June 20 events. The bill was approved by 79 votes in the third reading. 15 MPs voted against.

According to the Amnesty Project, all persons who committed crimes in connection with the events of June 19-21, 2019 and don’t refuse to be granted amnesty will be released from criminal liability and punishment, as well as probation.

The amnesty will also apply to a person who has prepared or attempted to commit a crime related to the events of June 19-21.
