Prime Minister of Georgia together with Minister of Education Mikheil Chkhenkeli and Chief of the State Security Service Grigol Liluashvili-visited the newly rehabilitated school dedicated to the acclaimed mathematician and meritorious teacher Alexandre Liluashvili, in the village of Shua Gora, Vani Municipality.
According to Irakli Garibashvili, seven new schools have been built and 16 public schools have been rehabilitated in full, and a professional college meeting the latest standards has been built in Tskaltubo, to meet the coming new academic year.
Starting in the 2021-2022 academic year, the students of the Shua Gora school, Vani Municipality will take courses in a fully rehabilitated facility. The school, with its capacity reaching 400 schoolchildren, is fully stocked with new equipment and adapted to the needs of persons with special educational needs, with relevant wet areas and wheelchair ramps built. The schoolyard features an outdoor sports field. The schools" indoor gym has also been rehabilitated, and the furbishing of a natural science laboratory is underway. In addition, transport in both directions is allocated to serve the students. The school’s rehabilitation cost 1,075,051 GEL.
On his visit to the Shua Gora public school, the Prime Minister was accompanied by Minister of Regional Development Irakli Karseladze, Justice Minister Rati Bregadze, Head of the Government Administration"s Regional Liaison Department Leri Barnabishvili, and Imereti State Representative Zviad Shalamberidze.
