“The court did what we had expected. They could announce the decision in July, but they delayed it deliberately until the end of August, which is exactly six months after the incident. The judge found them guilty but released them.

We have a shameful court. It creates a syndrome of impunity in this country and it led to the murder of our colleague on July 5. The judge who released these people today will be an example of impunity and will be contagious to others”, - said Vakho Sanaia.
