Prime Minister, Speaker of Parliament Kakha Kuchava, and Minister of Education and Science Mikheil Chkhenkeli visited a newly built school in Daba Nasakirali, Ozurgeti. Irakli Garibashvili familiarized himself with the infrastructure of the school accommodating 600 students.
On his visit to the newly built Daba Nasakirali school, the Prime Minister was accompanied by Deputy Speaker of Parliament Archil Talakvadze and Guria State Representative Giorgi Urushadze.
According to the Minister of Education, the construction of a new school in Daba Nasakirali has increased the number of students, currently exceeding 400, according to the latest data. A trend of transferring from neighboring schools is also evident.
Financed by the Georgian Government, the construction of the new public school in Daba Nasakirali, Ozurgeti Municipality was completed in August of 2021, its cost amounting to 7.022,440 GEL. Built in line with modern standards, the school boasts 24 rooms and 4 laboratories. The school yard has been duly furbished, and the facility"s infrastructure is fully adapted for the needs of persons with limited abilities. School construction and rehabilitation is in full swing in all three municipalities of Guria. In recent years, 9 new schools have been built and 6 have been fully rehabilitated.
