Prime Minister met with Thomas Mühlmann, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Austria to Georgia.

The meeting discussed Georgia-Austria bilateral relations, expressing commitment to tapping into the full potential of relations between the two countries in the areas of economy, tourism, agriculture, education, and environmental protection.

The parties pointed out Georgia’s continuous relevance in terms of attracting Austrian businesses and investments, singling out the successful ongoing projects by acclaimed Austrian companies in Georgia.

The conversation also covered challenges posed by COVID-19 and issues pertaining to the fight against the pandemic. Irakli Garibashvili reiterated gratitude to the Austrian diplomat for supplying Georgia with 5,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines.
