Beds and artificial lung ventilation equipment are already at the field hospital. Such a statement made today the Minister of Health of Georgia.

“A field hospital will be arranged for 500 patients in Tbilisi and most of the beds will be equipped with oxygen.

The Ministry will do its best to use the field hospital in the most extreme cases and keep patients in the hospital sector. If necessary, the resources to create a field hospital will be found in other regions besides Tbilisi.

Physicians in Georgia do not practice or are trained for on-field medical care. However, most of the practising doctors got their degrees while military training and on-field medicine were mandatory.

The field hospital is being set up in one of the venues of Digomi Olympic Village in Tbilisi.
