Shalva Papuashvili, the Georgian Dream’s public relations secretary, presented the results of a survey conducted by the party. He talked about the expected results of the self-government elections in Tbilisi.

“According to the poll conducted by the Georgian Dream in the capital, Kakha Kaladze will get 66.2% of votes, Nika Melia - 33.8%.

The weighted data of party rating are as follows: Georgian Dream - 46.3%, United National Movement - 23.3%, Girchi-more Freedom - 5.3%, For Georgia - 5.2%, Citizens - 3.3%, Strategy Aghmashenebeli - 2.3%, Lelo -2.3%, Patriots Alliance - 2.1%, European Georgia -1.4%, Girchi - 1.4%, Labor Party - 0.9%, United Georgia - 0.8%, other parties 5.6%.

In the 2020 parliamentary elections, ruling party received 41.8% of the votes in Tbilisi. Accordingly, the survey shows that our party’s rating in the capital has recently increased by a few percent. Therefore, our assumption that we can get more than 50% of the nationwide votes is quite reasonable”, - said Papuashvili.
