“As in the rest of the world, the epidemiological situation in Georgia is difficult, mainly due to the wide circulation of new strains (delta strain).

Based on the analysis of epidemiological indicators and trends, the Coordinating Council, despite the intensification of the immunization process in August, considered it necessary to impose so-called non-pharmaceutical interventions and, in particular, to impose certain restrictions.

According to the decision of the Coordinating Council, from August 14 to September 4, for 3 weeks, municipal traffic will be restricted. The restriction does not apply to intercity transport”, - said Giorgi Ghibradze.
