Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has stated at today’s government meeting that “Armenia is ready to engage in the negotiations at a high level and at the highest level and is expecting concrete proposals”.
Nikol Pashinyan has made this statement in response to the July 29 call of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs to resume the negotiation process on a comprehensive and lasting settlement of the NK conflict.
“In order to start the period of peaceful development for Armenia, Artsakh and the region, we must be as active and flexible as possible to do our best to solve the problems on the agenda.
The trilateral work of the Deputy Prime Ministers of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan should start as soon as possible, and the parties should be more active and proactive in terms of implementing new communication and economic opportunities in the region”, - he said.
According to Pashinyan, the normalization or strengthening of relations with neighboring countries will be one of the important directions of the Armenian government’s foreign policy.
