Another success of the Georgian tennis player in Toronto. In the ATP 1000 category tournament, Nikoloz Basilashvili defeated 22-year-old Australian Alex De Minaur in the second round.

Basilashvili defeated the opponent 6: 1, 6: 1 and reached the 1/8 final.

This time his opponent will be 24-year-old Polish Hubert Hurkacz. He defeated Japanese Kei Nishikori before meeting with Basilashvili.
