Deputy Minister of Health does not rule out the need for field hospitals in case of epidemic escalation over the next 10 days.

“If the same increasing trend of the epidemic continues for the next 7-10 days, we will have to mobilize additional alternative hotels, there is a discussion about what will be the field solution in this case, which we have never used before.

The hospital sector operates under maximum load. 8000 is our maximum. This is the number of beds that we can allocate from the hospital sector. The number of hotels will be added to this”, - said Tamar Gabunia.
