Georgian Dream quits Charles Michel agreement

The Chairman of the Georgian Dream announced today that the EU-brokered April 19 agreement as annulled.

According to Irakli Kobakhidze, Charles Michel agreement “served its mission and exhausted itself” 100 days after signing, with the majority of opposition lawmakers having refrained from signing.

“We can see our international partners do not find it necessary to strictly demand from the opposition to sign and participate in implementing the document. One-sided loyalty to the April 19 agreement is insulting for the Georgian Dream. Our voters will not forgive us this”, - added the Chairperson of the ruling team.
